        **If you are using a PA style system with 25 or 70 volt lines these remarks do not apply. An in wall control serves a vital purpose, that of protecting your amplifier from damage. They do this by providing impedance protection, allowing the use of multiple pairs of speakers without exceeding the minimum allowable impedance of your amplifier. Be careful with any control that is not impedance matching. If you have a non impedance matching volume control and wish to run multiple speakers you will need an impedance matching speaker selector. In most cases the impedance needed is set by jumpers, and instructions are included.For more about impedance matching see our short article.
